Do you know that there is a drug that stops you from contracting HIV/AIDS? It is called PEP which stands for Post-Exposure Prophylaxis. It simply means taking antiretroviral medicines (ART) after being potentially exposed to HIV to prevent becoming infected.

WHO recommends Truvada for pep as standard regimen and a combination with a third drug.
